北海道北斗市に位置する「湯の沢水辺公園キャンプ場」は、自然豊かな環境と充実した設備を兼ね備えた無料のキャンプ場です。茂辺地川の中流域に広がるこのキャンプ場は、車でのアクセスも良好で、ソロキャンパーからファミリーまで幅広い層に支持されています。
今回は、「CAMP STANDARD」編集部が体験したキャンプ場の魅了をご紹介します。
無料ながらオートキャンプが楽しめる
キャンプ場内には、車を横付けできるオートサイトが35区画、テントサイトが50張分設けられており、予約不要で利用可能です。芝生のサイトは手入れが行き届いており、快適に過ごすことができます。また、ペットの同伴も可能で、愛犬と一緒に自然を満喫することができますよ。
施設内には、屋根付きの炊事場が1カ所あり、清掃が行き届いていて快適に利用できます。蛇口にはホースが取り付けられており、調理や洗い物がしやすい設計となっています。また、炊事場の近くには炭捨て場も設置されており、後片付けもスムーズに行えます。トイレは和式の簡易水洗式が1カ所設置されており、こちらも清潔に保たれています。
茂辺地川の清流と満開の桜、星空が楽しめる自然豊かなキャンプ環境
キャンプ場の周辺には、茂辺地川が流れており、渓流釣りや水遊びを楽しむことができます。特に春には八重桜が咲き誇り、桜の下でのキャンプは格別です。また、夜間は周囲に人工の明かりが少なく、満天の星を眺めることができます。
清潔な炊事場など設備もしっかり

施設内にある屋根付きの炊事場は、清掃が行き届いていて快適に利用できます。蛇口にはホースが取り付けられており、調理や洗い物がしやすいのがうれしいポイント。また、炊事場の近くには炭捨て場も設置されており、後片付けもスムーズに行えます。トイレは和式の簡易水洗式が1カ所設置されており、こちらも清潔に保たれています。

注意点として、夏季には虫が多く発生するため、虫除け対策をしっかりと行うことをおすすめします。また、キャンプ場内にはゴミ箱が設置されていないため、ゴミは各自で持ち帰る必要があります。さらに、近隣にはコンビニや入浴施設がないため、事前に買い出しや入浴を済ませておくと安心です。

Even though it's free, the toilet kitchen scenery is all beautiful and spacious. I appreciate being able to put my bike right next to the tent.
If you go with Google Maps, you may be guided to the entrance that you can not enter, so be careful only there.

To the last, looking at the van-dwelling. You can camp for free. Of course, bonfire is OK if you lay a sheet. There is also a parking space, and at the back of the site there is a free site, a small stream surrounding the campsite and a river where you can fish. There are no convenience stores or baths nearby, so it is better to finish shopping in advance. There was also a hot spring that you can take a day trip to about 15 kilometers by car.

It's free but very beautiful and good. It's a pity that the toilet is Japanese style, but it didn't smell. It is crowded on holidays, so we recommend arriving early. Arriving at 10am on Saturday, late May, the nice spots around the perimeter were almost full. I hope it will be helpful.

Although it is a Japanese style, it has a flush toilet, a kitchen that you cannot drink, and a free campsite where you can use the auto site if the timing is right. All trash is taken home and there is a charcoal dump.

I use various free campsites, but the smell is in the top.

Looking at the map, it looks like there are two entrances, but the front entrance is closed.
You can't go home after seeing this. The entrance behind it is the real entrance. I think you'll be surprised at how great it is for a free site.

It's 40 minutes by car from Hakodate, so I think it's okay to use it as a base for sightseeing, but the nearby town is Moheji and there's nothing. There are no convenience stores or baths, and even Moheji, which has nothing, needs to go down a narrow mountain road with one lane in each direction for 10 minutes from this campsite, so if you forget to buy something, I think you'll feel a lot of despair.

However, it seems to be a place like a basin, and it cannot be said that it is very comfortable during the daytime in summer due to the humidity and temperature rise. I wish there were a few more trees, but they were just planted to the extent of my apologies, so they don't serve as a shade.
Also, be careful of sudden rain as the weather changes all the time. The ground is quite hard, so you need strong pegs.
There is a river flowing nearby, so you can hear the rumbling sound all the time. Nervous people may be concerned.

キャンプ場ないで、残飯をあさった熊の形跡あり。かなり注意が必要。
生ゴミを放置したり、屋外に置いておくのは、カラスや熊を惹きつけます。しばらくは行かないことにしました。

無料なのにとてもキレイでグッド。トイレが和式なのは残念だけど、臭いはしなかった。休日は混んでいるので早めの到着をオススメします。5月下旬土曜日午前10時に到着して、外周部のいい場所は、ほぼ埋まってました。参考となれば幸いです。

サイトごとに駐車スペースがあるため、バイクでも安心安全でした。
荷物の積み下ろしも楽で良いですね。
《立地》
山奥とまでは言いませんが、市街地からちょっと距離がありますね。
そのため、キャンプ場に向かう際、買い物、温泉など済ませてから行くと良いかなと思いました。
もちろん付近にコンビニはありません。
《環境》
静かな環境でした。
トイレ棟、中央には炊事場、トイレ棟の前には自動販売機有り。
また、サイトの後ろを小川が流れているサイトも有りましたので何か冷やすのに良いかもしれません。

しかし、無料なので贅沢は言ってはいけません。

ダム湖の湖畔にある公園で、無料で利用可能なキャンプ場があります。管理棟にはトイレが完備されています。清掃されたトイレで気分良く利用できます。
